- What time period does my sewer use bill cover?
-
The sewer use bill covers the previous three months. New owners should check their closing statements to see the adjustment made at closing. In most cases, the bill is the new owner's obligation.
- What happens if my bill becomes delinquent?
-
Interest is charged on accounts with past due balances. We MUST charge interest per Connecticut State Statutes. Failure to pay the bill by the delinquent date shown on the Sewer Use Bill results in an interest charge dating back to the due date on the Sewer Use Bill. If your account has a past due balance, or has not been paid by the delinquent date on your current Sewer Use Bill, please contact our office for a current balance at 860-444-5886 or by email at wuc@waterfordct.org.
