The Waterford Public Library has an afternoon and an evening book discussion series. They meet monthly with the discussions facilitated by local scholars.
The Daytime Book Discussion meets the fourth Friday of each month at 1 pm from October through June.
The Speculative Fiction Book Discussion meets the second Monday of each month at 7 pm. October through December and February through April. This series is led by Pam Bedore, associate professor of English at the University of Connecticut (UConn).
Multiple copies of the selected titles are available in the library for check out. Currently, these discussions are being held virtually using Zoom and registration is required.
