Call 2-1-1 for information on various human and social services that are offered in your area. 2-1-1 connects you with a local community resource specialist who can help you find services and resources, as well as provide critical services. They can help you in getting assistance with: supplemental food and nutrition programs, shelter and housing options, utilities assistance, emergency information and disaster relief, employment and education opportunities, services for veterans, health care, vaccination and health epidemic information, addiction prevention and rehabilitation programs, reentry help for ex-offenders, support groups for individuals with mental illness or special needs, and a safe, confidential path out of physical and/or emotional domestic abuse.
