The Town of Waterford currently uses Everbridge Notification System to keep its citizens informed on emergencies, storms and important information. 

Currently, there are approximately 5500 household landlines in town take advantage of this very effective communication tool. The Emergency Management Department broadcasts emergency information such as storm watches and warnings, hazardous situations in your neighborhood, missing persons, road closures, and evacuation information utilizing this Everbridge program, or what many refer to as "Reverse 911". You may also receive information regarding the postponement of trash pickup, pre-storm planning and parking bans. Anything that can assist our communication to you, the resident. Notifications we send out can and will be made to all, or narrowed to those in specific areas of town, which is why if you are interested in signing up, it is important to include your address for notifications that are specific to your area of town.
