If you did not receive a bill for property you own that uses sewers, contact our office promptly. State Statute 12-130 states that failure to receive a bill does not invalidate the bill or the interest.

The sewer use bill covers the previous three months. New owners should check their closing statements to see the adjustment made at closing. In most cases, the bill is the new owner's obligation.
Interest is charged the 1st of every month. We MUST charge interest per Connecticut State Statutes. Failure to pay the bill by due date results in an interest charge dating back to date on invoice.
