We welcome local author Kathy Swope who will discuss writing and the art of the short story. She will also introduce her new book A Fleeting Glimpse: stories about choices. This will be an informal round table discussion. Please join us!
Kathy was a technical editor/writer at Sonalysts and then taught technical writing at Thames Valley State Technical College until it became the present Three Rivers Community College. Later she enrolled at Wesleyan University and immersed myself in literature receiving a masters in liberal arts. There she learned to love the structure of the short story, which seemed to mirror her ability as a technical writer.
