Falls Prevention ProgramThe Department of Aging and Disability Services and the Department of Public Health have partnered to Launch Falls Free CT, a statewide falls prevention coalition. Waterford Senior Services is proud to be part of this coalition whose purpose is to bring together falls prevention champions committed to reducing the incidence of falls among older adults. Waterford Senior Services offers several programs that support this initiative, including Yoga, Chair Yoga, Strength Classes, and Tai Chi. In addition we offer Falls Prevention Workshops and partner with Waterford Fire Department’s Community Educator to offer falls prevention seminars. We are happy to be working towards a falls free state by offering these important programs and services.Click here to download the guide
