National Library Week – April 9 – April 15

Every April libraries throughout the country observe National Library Week, which is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries, librarians and library workers and to promote library use and support.  This year National Library Week is being celebrated from April 9-15, with the theme “Libraries Transform.”

The staff of the Waterford Public Library is committed to providing quality library services to the people of Waterford and we take great pride in our contributions to the community.

Help us celebrate not just during National Library Week, but all year by coming to the library - take out a book, DVD, music CD, or magazine, bring your child to story time, use a computer, attend a lecture, or watch a movie.  Don’t forget to come to the library via our website – download an e-book, use our online resources, and check out our calendar of programs and events.

Please take advantage of everything the library has to offer.
